Goat's Milk contains capric and caprilic acids that naturally balance the alkalinity of the soap so that it helps to balance the alkalinity level of the human epidermis. This keeps the skin and hair from being "robbed" of their natural moisture, which is a common problem with commercial soaps and shampoos.
